I enjoyed my 6-night stay at Hotel Aurora. The double room felt spacious yet cozy, the flat-screen TV provided entertainment, and the electric kettle was a convenient touch for morning teas. The proximity to some lovely shops made it easy to grab snacks. A short 15-minute walk got me to downtown, including the beautiful Nuuk Cathedral and the Katuaq cultural center. Unfortunately, the breakfast situation was frustrating. On the second morning, the buffet ran completely empty when I arrived. I waited for half an hour with no staff around to refill it, and this caused a lot of frustration. Room cleanliness was also an issue, as the bed sheets didn't seem changed from the previous guests upon arrival. Despite these setbacks, the overall comfort of the hotel was commendable, and the layout of the rooms provided a nice atmosphere.

The spacious family room was very accommodating.
I was really disappointed by the breakfast situation. On my second day, when I arrived at 8:30, the buffet was entirely empty. There were no cups, no glasses, and no food—no staff in sight. Waiting for half an hour and then watching them struggle to refill everything was incredibly frustrating.

comfortable stay with room for improvement
The deluxe family room was spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy atmosphere for our family. I appreciated the helpful and friendly staff, especially their attentiveness during our stay. The location was convenient, just a short walk from many attractions, making it easy for us to explore the area.
However, the breakfast service was inconsistent, with items running out at peak times.
